Overview: Concentrator is a smart meter reading system data center unit. Concentrator
through the establishment of a reliable communication channel,
processing and exchange of data between master and table unit
information. According to the needs of the configuration
for the daily, one or two days at a time automatic meter reading, meter
reading data stored in the concentrator for the host computer to read at
any time. The master can dial modem, RS-232 or GPRS wireless meter reading meter data. It
can read the meter reading data that has been read and saved in the
concentrator, and also enables the concentrator to operate the collector
and the watch cell, and extract the new meter reading data of the watch
cell.

When using
the modem mode, the concentrator is connected to the telephone line
provided by the telecommunication bureau, the concentrator automatically
answers the incoming call, receives the meter reading instruction
transmitted from the telephone line, and completes the operation of the
collector and the table in the area.When using RS-232
meter reading, the concentrator is connected to the serial port of the
host computer through the serial extension cable.
When
using GPRS wireless meter reading, the host computer through the
INTERNET access connected to the CDMA / GPRS network concentrator,
wireless meter reading. There is no need for
wiring between the concentrator and the host computer. However, it is
required that the CDMA / GPRS network is covered in the location where
the concentrator is installed and the signal is good, and the host
computer also needs to function on the INTERNET network. The network is
in good condition.
